Centro Bos Aires

The “Centro Arnoia de Bos Aires” emerges to help better cope with that real tragedy that was emigration. A place where Galician was spoken (without prejudice) and which was created with the aim of “providing food, shelter and a job” to the newcomers.

Once settled in Buenos Aires or in Córdoba (Argentina), they began to send aid to their relatives who had remained in the village.

These savings are what turned Arnoia into one of the municipalities with a complete electrical installation, with the particular feature that it is the municipality itself that supplies energy to its residents.
