Monuments
Among the religious buildings, we should highlight the parish church of San Salvador, as well as the chapels: San Roque, or San Vicente, 18th century; Nosa Señora da Asunción in Lapela; San Antonio in Remuíño; San Amaro in the place of the same name.
The cruceiros (wayside crosses) and petos de ánimas (soul shrines) are also present.
Festivals
The festive celebrations held in Arnoia are numerous. The festival calendar includes at least sixteen throughout the year, most of them prompted by the patronage of its many chapels. Some of these festivals are of great tradition, such as the blessing of the fields or that of the “Reliquias” (Relics) in Remuíño. Curiously, it is a modern festival that today has the greatest drawing power: “A Festa do Pemento”.
