Mancomunidade Intermunicipal Voluntaria “Do Ribeiro”
The Mancomunidade de Concellos do Ribeiro was established as a supra-municipal Public Entity on the initiative and by the unanimous will of the municipalities that make up the Comarca do Ribeiro, back in 1987, to jointly manage a series of basic services, most notably urban solid waste collection, the Basic Social Service, the Regional Slaughterhouse, Civil Protection and Fire Prevention and Firefighting, Tax Collection, IT Services and Culture.
